Dr. Singer joined Athenian Properties in January 2008 as Data Strategist. She oversees all information technology infrastructure and provides specialized data and geographical analysis both internally and for clients such as the School District of Philadelphia. While at Athenian she continues to direct the nonpartisan Pennsylvania Election Transparency Project, as well as a small residential property development business (Wise Acre Real Estate) and a data consulting business (Campaign Scientific). Prior to these entrepreneurial endeavors, Dr. Singer was an Associate Professor of Mathematics (with tenure) at Haverford College.

Dr. Singer earned her Ph.D. from the Courant Institute at New York University and her B.S. from Yale University, both in Mathematics. She received advanced training in Computer Science at Stanford University. She has received numerous awards and fellowships (from the National Science Foundation, the Sloan Foundation, IBM and the Bunting Institute, among others) for her mathematical research. She has received accolades from scientists, including one Nobel Laureate, for her expository books on mathematical physics. Dr. Singer maintains an active Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson license and a membership in the Urban Land Institute.
