Janet Kimbelton Grace
Construction / Project Management
Ms. Grace has over 20 years of experience in the design and construction fields. She joined Athenian Properties in 2004, and is currently leading a multi-disciplinary team to redesign and rebuild Building 120 in the Philadelphia Navy Yard as the Philadelphia Sound Stage. Her work at Athenian has included supervising significant base building and tenant work at 833 Chestnut Street, including GSA tenants and a major masonry restoration project, and serving as project manager for the school District of Philadelphia K-8 conversion construction with the Driscoll/Don Todd JV.

Prior to joining Athenian, Ms. Grace provided architectural services for interior fit-up, historic preservation, and new construction. High-profile projects in which she has provided design, construction documentation, and project management services included interiors for the 1,000,000 sf Citizen's Bank Ballpark, the 600,000 sf Independence Blue Cross Building in Philadelphia and the 800,000 sf Shearson Lehman Building in Manhattan; both office buildings included extensive data centers, cafeterias, and conference facilities. Ms. Grace served as Project Manager for projects at the Tropicana Hotel, Einstein Hospital, Jefferson Hospital, and the Morgan Stanley company, where her responsibilities included programming and master planning.

In addition to her work on new construction, she provided construction documentation for the renovation of the historic buildings (ranging from the 1890's - 1930) of the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, and provided conditions assessments for both the School District of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Neighborhood Transformation Initiative. Ms. Grace serves on the Boards of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), The Friends of Lemon Hill, The Colonial Dames of America, Chapter II and is a National Delegate to the CREW Foundation. She is the co-chair of the CREW Community Action Committee. Ms. Grace holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Studies from The University of The Arts.
