Jacqueline Buhn
President
Ms. Buhn is a seasoned real estate veteran and the founder and President of Athenian Properties. Her company provides a range of services including consulting, development management, construction management, and property management. Projects underway or recently completed by Ms. Buhn and her company include the Master Plan for the School District of Philadelphia and construction management for the conversion of 28 Philadelphia K-6 schools to K-8's, redevelopment of a Philadelphia Navy Yard warehouse as the Philadelphia Sound Stage, redevelopment of the historic Bryn Mawr Theater, redevelopment, management, and construction management for the 750,000 square foot 833 Chestnut Street office building in Philadelphia, and property and construction management for the redevelopment of the 650,000 sf 440 North Broad Street building in Philadelphia as a carrier hotel.

Ms. Buhn's particular expertise is in financial structuring, historic redevelopment, master planning, and tech development and construction. Before forming Athenian, Ms. Buhn was a founder and principal of Renaissance Properties, where for 10 years she oversaw management, restructuring, and redevelopment for over 4 million sf of commercial properties and 3,000 residential units for institutional owners. Prior to forming Renaissance, Ms. Buhn served for ten years as senior project manager at Growth Properties, handling the development and construction of the 100,000 square foot Sheridan Building and the 200-unit Cosmopolitan Apartments.

Ms. Buhn speaks regularly on topics including school planning, the Philadelphia market, leasing, technology, management, and leadership, and she is the winner of numerous awards including the Philadelphia Business Journal Women of Distinction Award, the national CREW Networking Award, the CCREA Agency Award, and the Archon Achievement Award. Ms. Buhn has served as president of CREW Philadelphia and board member of the CREW National Network, Secretary of CCREA, and is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate, the Forum of Executive Women, the PBJ Women of Distinction Alumni Board, and the Philadelphia Yale Club. Ms. Buhn holds a B.A. from Yale University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington.
