Mr. Konrad joined Athenian Properties in June 2007. He has act as Owners Representative for the construction of five data centers, comprising over 50,000 sf of raised floor. In this role Mr. Konrad oversaw all technical aspects of the data center implementation, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and architectural. He also serves as operations manager for turnkey data centers (over 25,000 raised sf) at 833 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia.

Before joining Athenian, Mr. Konrad served for 15 years as Manager of Facilities Engineering at a major disaster recovery provider. During this time he managed over 1,000,000 sf computer room raised floor environments and oversaw over 200,000 sf of data center construction. Prior to that, he served as Project Manager in the real estate management arm of a major corporation, overseeing over 50,000 sf of data center construction from land purchase to management of the facility's oparations.

Mr. Konrad started his career as a licensed electrical contractor. He has been an active member of NFPA for 25 years. He has earned RPA and FMA designations from the BOMI institute.
