A private owner acquired a large, vacant printing press building for conversion into a telecom carrier hotel. In this relatively new field, the owner looked for experienced assistance.

Senior Athenian staff, while at a predecessor firm, were chosen from a wide field of competitors to consult with the owner during the planning and development of the project. The team assisted in directing construction and master-planning for telecom uses, creating a telecom-friendly base lease, developing specialized building systems, and developing a riser-management system for the heavy infrastructure requirements.

The core renovations were completed on time and on budget and two major tenants were signed.
