A national data center was looking for a Philadelphia location to install one of its Tier II units.

Athenian negotiated the tenant’s lease, including creating tenant construction guidelines and coordinating these with the common building systems. Athenian then managed the building systems construction to an on-time completion. Data center parameters include an 18 inch raised floor with cooling above and below, pre-action fire suppression, dry coolers, a two-megawatt generator, two 1,600 gallon oil tanks, separate 2,500 amp service and a dedicated transformer and buss.

The tenant occupied the center on time, and has filled all cabinets in its initial raised floor, built an expansion, and is now planning further expansions.  Athenian will continue to assist in coordinating this work.
