Philosophy
Athenian believes in investing in the development of vibrant cities. To achieve this, it undertakes one development project at a time for non-profits at favorable rates. It also donates 10% of net profits to urban education and arts oriented non-profits, and supports staff members participating in educational and non-profit groups of their choosing.
2006 Recipients
Athenian Properties has a policy of donating 10% of its net profit each year to charitable organizations that work in ways that furthers Athenian's mission: growing great cities. In 2006, recipients of these donations included Endow-A-Home, the Point Breeze Performing Arts Center, the Philadelphia Education Fund, and the CREW Foundation.
